Tweet through one Twitter account by several people without sharing the password

RoundTeam allows you to post incoming Twitter direct messages as new Tweets. Tweeting DMs is available to all RoundTeam users regardless the type of subscription plan they use.

This functionality adds two important use cases to RoundTeam, such as:

  • Ability to tweet through one Twitter account by a group of people without sharing a password
  • Ability to create closed groups and private discussions on Twitter

Lets take a look at one of the use cases in more details – Tweet through one Twitter account by several people

Pros:
  • no more password sharing
  • no limitations on the amount of contributors you can have
  • strict contributors management rules – allow new Tweets only from approved users
  • tweet only what is important: choose all DMs or only those containing specific hashtag/word/phrase
  • filter undesirable content by using Excluding Text filter
  • hide contributor’s names – DMs will look just like new Tweets in the Twitter timeline

Cons:

Well… let us know if you know any!

It will take you just a few minutes to set up tweeting DM’s. Choose what to tweet, the source of the content and spice it up with some filters if needed. Here is an example configuration you can try: all DMs from approved authors with an the option to hide author’s names.
